With only 2 bedrooms but the whole upper floor, this is a b&b with a difference! It's so easy for friends or a family to have the whole space to themselves. Elizabeth House is a converted church in the centre of the traditional Snowdonian village of Dolwyddelan, just 20 minutes from Snowdon and 5 miles from Betws-Y-Coed.

Built in the 1860's, and a church for just over a hundred years, it retains much of its original character: sleep under the rafters, look out of stained glass windows - and spot the former pulpit! The history stops with the architecture and artefacts - the beds are comfy, the quilts cuddly and the towels fluffy! Each room now has its own bath and shower, the water is hot, the showers pressurised - and the rubber ducks float!

From the bedrooms, a short hallway takes you to the gallery, a space reserved for you. With two sofas, a rocking chair and a stool, there's still room to play giant chess, over-sized dominoes or table football without interrupting anyone watching TV or a DVD! You'll also find information on local walks and places of interest. There's a small fridge for you to use - just leave us room to put the fresh milk in for you each morning please! Curl up with a book, borrow other games and DVDs, use the free wi-fi access - it's your space, make it your own! Whilst we don't specifically cater for young children, there is a stair gate at the top of the stairs.
