The second of annual festival of its kind at Antur Stiniog Mountainbike Track. A downhill mountain bike race down one of their famous tracks. With a maximum of 300 riders blasting down the hill at full speed in a number of various categories, ranging from youth – veteran, also including an elite class for the top riders in the UK and further afield.

Taking place from Saturday 12/07/2014 to Sunday 13/07/2014, Saturday holds the practice race and Jump Track Challenge while the main event is at 12 on Sunday.

It’s not all biking though! There’s a BBQ for you hungry bikers and a bar so you can unwind during and after all the excitement. MTB films will be being shown inside the marquee and some live music on the site and in town to keep everyone entertained after the racing stops.

Live Music can be found in venues such as Cellb, Y Tap, Meirion, Y Cwm and the Wynne’s Arms from the likes of local artists;
Misty, Poket Trez, Radio Rhydd, Jamie Bevan, Brython Shag, Huw Al, Chris Hall, DJ Eryl Back, DJ Gary Lewis, Electro Ffest and much more!

Biker or just interested, Gwyl DHFfest is a great sporting event which will be plenty of fun for any mountain biking fan or local individual.

You can even camp overnight, only about 500 yards from the site for the very reasonable price of £10 a night! This is only at Clwb Rygbi Bro Ffestiniog, and there’s food and drink, showers, toilets and a bar all available.
