Zip World Titan: The Next Best Summer Activity

zip world titan

The fantastic Zip World in Snowdonia opened a new site called Zip World Titan in June. This is situated closely to the mining town of Blaenau Ffestiniog at Llechwedd Slate Caverns, which is only 40 minutes from the Bethesda site – Zip World Velocity.

This is the perfect attraction for an adrenaline-fueled day out with friends and family and if you are then in need of a lovely old Welsh Inn, The Black Boy Inn Hotel near Zip World is an ideal establishment to sample local Welsh food and ale, along with cosy accommodation just a short drive from the heart of Snowdonia

What is it about this zip-line that makes it so special? Well, it’s the ONLY four person zip-line in Europe! Riders reach speeds of up to 70mph when flying through the air over moors, mountains and mines.

The Zip World Titan experience lasts for about two hours and riders will be supplied and kitted out with all the necessary safety gear and guided through by an instructor, who will take you by vehicle to the start of zip line one – the longest of the three.

Titan introduces 3 new zip-lines: Anarchy, Bedlam and Chaos.

With over 8km of cable, each participant descents the line in unison in groups of four. On your journey between the zip-lines, are short scenic walks. Driving between the two sites provides the greatest zip-lining adventure ever, with the drive providing some of the most incredibly breathtaking views in Wales.

Bare in mind that children under eighteen are requires to be accompanied by an adult in order to access any of the activities available. There’s no better time to visit than now, as zip-world is weather dependent so there are two programmes available depending on the time of year.

The summer and winter regimes ensure that zip-world titan will be operational all year round, however if you want to have the best experience possible, then it is better to go between the months of March and October.
