Choosing Snowdonia for Your Next Holiday

A lot of us seek relaxation in warmer climates for our holidays, but staying a little closer to home can prove just as tranquil. The Snowdonia National Park is a wonderful example of a British holiday location which offers both tranquillity and awe-inspiring views. Snowdonia becomes incredibly busy over the summer season, with many taking on the challenge of Snowdon – the highest mountain in Wales. There are various routes to the summit, and typically takes on average 6 hours to the summit and back.

If you don’t feel like attempting the climb, the Snowdon Railway will take you right up to the summit after a scenic 40 minute journey.
