Halloween Events in Snowdonia

Despite being one of the most idyllic and gorgeous regions you’ll find anywhere in Wales, Halloween Events in Snowdonia Snowdonia can become a spooky place to be come October 31st and with events like these coming up, it might be worth you being well-prepared for some scares.

Without doubt, Greenwood Forest Park is right up there with the most iconic and sublime areas of woodland in the whole of the United Kingdom but this spooky season, it’s set to be a creepy and crazy day out for the whole family.

Already in full swing, the Halloween Spooktacular is proving a hit with all ages as they turn up eager to jump into the horror action as kids run around in only their most terrifying costumes. Apart from scaring the grown-ups witless, children are enjoying some great craft activities that include decorating their own pumpkins and some seriously monstrous masks.

With a special performance by Ricardo in the Forest Theatre still to come on the 31st and a ghoulish array of other fun activities still going on, make sure you get to the Halloween Spooktacular before it gets you!

Elsewhere, if you’re a fan of steam railways or are keen to delve into, the historic trains come to undead life on the 26th of October in Porthmadog and again on the 29th until the 31st, you’re bound to go loco on the locomotives when the demon staff serve you up some delicious Halloween platter as you cruise through some beautiful regions in North Wales.

Another spectacular Autumn excursion is Bodnant Garden near Snowodnia which has more than enough to keep the kids happy this half-term. With storytelling sessions available in the Pin Mill on the 26th, a Mythical Creatures trail set to excite on the 31st and some brilliant Pumpkin Carving available, there’s going to be a lot on for everyone. Adding to this, there’s a Spooky Night Walk on Halloween itself which has all the markings of a terrific and terrifying time for all.
