A new concept for a competition revolving around surmounting the great peak. The Snowdon Twilight run. This is an uphill only race and will be held on the 26th of June at a time still to be confirmed (pm)
This event is a full month before the full International Snowdon Race which is due to enter it’s 40th anniversary this year, and is considered among the greatest of mountain running competitions in the world.
The race is limited to only 250 athletes who will race from Llanberis, all the way to the summit of mount Snowdon, witnessing some brilliant scenery along the way and at the top.
It’s called the twilight race because it will be taking place in the evening, between 7 and pm, with everyone reaching the summit within 1hour 15 minutes.
The event is a full month before the main race and is ideal training.
