A great holiday doesn’t always have to require a stressful flight and a super hot destination. Providing you choose a scenic location, holidays in the UK can offer just as much enjoyment and exciting things to do during your stay.

One place in particular within the UK which has proven popular over the years is North Wales. Titled the ‘adventure capital of Europe’ and considered one of the best regions to visit in the world last year, North Wales is fast becoming a hot tourist spot.

This zip line will have you travelling at speeds of over 100mph whilst you take in (or at least try to!) the fantastic views of the surrounding area, including the Isle of Anglesey.

Within the Conwy valley, you can find Surf Snowdonia. This popular artificial lagoon offers the perfect opportunity for you to learn how to surf without the pressure of actually being in the sea.

There are a variety of activities to try at Surf Snowdonia, including the Crash & Splash obstacle course, which is great for those who just want to have a splash about in the lagoon.
