Easter Events in Snowdonia

Easter EggsReady the Cadbury’s chocolate because Easter is being celebrated brilliantly with events in Snowdonia over the next month offering plenty of fun and frolics.

Take a look at some of the occasions below which will get you out and about with the incentive of a good scoff on some chocolate eggs at the end of it.

Easter Eggstravaganza

Greenwood Forest Park is one of the leading venues for great family entertainment in the country and is the destination for some exciting Easter-themed fun from the 12th to 27th of April.

If you’ve been thinking lately that you want to reconnect with nature then Greenwood is the perfect place to do just that as its 17 acres of glorious land offers much in the way of exploration. Throw in a pair of giant bunnies for your Easter egg hunt over the holiday period on the 19th and 20th of April and the result you get is the perfect day out for all the family.

Easter Egg Hunt

It’s hard to beat Penrhyn Castle in terms of historical significance for North Wales and its stunning grounds make this National Trust property the perfect location for an Easter egg hunt on the 18th and 19th of April.

The kids will revel in being able to explore such a stunning place during your visit as Penrhyn is steeped in wonder and intrigue. To really make the attraction that little bit more attractive, the organisers for this event have snagged themselves an Easter bunny to help you on your hunt for eggs!

Easter Bunnies

The Welsh Highland Heritage Railway do plenty for the local community and always strive to bring people onto their historic trains to help them delve into the history of the surrounding area of Porthmadog.

This Easter, it should come as no surprise then that they have organised a fantastic family occasion on the 19th and 20th of April where you have the chance to meet Rufus the rabbit! If you’re travelling on the day, you can tuck into some free chocolate but it’s not quite as simple as just being given it…

You will have to earn it on a thrilling Easter egg hunt!
